Who operates this website
PDF Tools Club is a collection of free document utilities. The operator is PDF Tools Club · India. This notice explains what happens to information when you use this version of the website.
Privacy contact: hello@pdftoolsclub.com
Your documents and results
When you choose a PDF or image, the tool reads that selected file locally in your browser. Document processing and result generation take place on your device. This version does not send selected documents or their contents to our servers, create a server-side document library, or use your documents to train AI models.
Working files and result links are held in browser memory. Closing or reloading the page ends that workspace; browser memory management is controlled by your browser. Your original files and saved downloads stay on your device until you remove them. We cannot retrieve, restore or delete those local copies for you.
Website requests and technical information
Opening the website sends normal requests to its hosting infrastructure. These requests can include your IP address, requested URL, time, browser/device information and referrer information. A hosting provider may maintain operational or security logs under its own policies. This is separate from PDF processing and does not require uploading your document.
We use technical information only where needed to deliver and secure the service, investigate abuse or comply with applicable obligations. We do not knowingly sell or rent personal information. This version includes no advertising trackers, always-on visitor analytics scripts, third-party font requests, account system or newsletter form.
If you contact us or join a community
If you voluntarily email us, we receive the information you send, such as your email address, message and attachments. Send a description of the problem rather than confidential documents. We use correspondence to respond, investigate issues and manage legitimate requests. Community platforms receive information under their own privacy notices when you choose to visit or join them.
We do not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. Any future mailing list will explain its purpose and offer an appropriate way to unsubscribe.
Privacy-first usage analytics
When configured, the site uses Google Analytics 4 in privacy-first mode without interrupting the tool flow with a consent popup. Basic analytics measurement is on by default to understand visits and tool usage; advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals remain disabled. Events identify the tool, not your document. We do not send filenames, document contents, watermark text, page selections or raw error messages.
Google may receive technical request information, including an IP address, and may process analytics information outside your country. A download click measures intent, not proof that a file was saved.
Open Analytics preferences in the footer to turn measurement off. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days. Turning it off stops future events on this site and attempts to remove accessible analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase previously collected data. Counts can be incomplete because of browser restrictions or blockers.
Some jurisdictions require consent even for certain measurement. Before public launch, confirm this configuration with local legal counsel or use a consent-first setting. Read Google’s Privacy Policy. If no measurement ID is configured, the site does not load the Google tag or send analytics events.
Cookies, retention and service providers
Selected documents are not persisted in local storage or a database. We store your analytics preference locally; optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after acceptance. Your browser may cache public site assets. Hosting security features may have separate storage practices, which must be disclosed if enabled.
We retain voluntary correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the enquiry, maintain necessary records or comply with applicable requirements, then delete or de-identify it. Hosting-log retention depends on the selected provider and configuration; no document-deletion timer is promised because documents are not uploaded by these tools.
Information may be disclosed to providers helping deliver the service, when legally required, or where reasonably necessary to address security incidents or protect rights. Such disclosure should be limited to the relevant purpose. Providers or communication services may process technical information outside your country.
Your choices and requests
You can use the tools without creating an account or providing an email address. You can stop processing by closing the page and manage cached assets and downloads through your browser or device settings.
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a grievance. Contact hello@pdftoolsclub.com with a clear description of your request. We may request proportionate information to verify identity, and will respond within any applicable legal timeframe. We cannot access or erase files stored only on your device.
This notice does not restrict a right to complain to a competent authority or use another remedy available under applicable law.
Children and younger users
The service is not designed to collect children’s personal information. Users who cannot legally agree to the Terms should use the service only with a parent, guardian or otherwise authorized adult’s involvement. Do not send a child’s personal information through support or community channels unless you have the necessary authority and it is genuinely required. If you believe we have received such information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Security and changes
Local processing reduces document transmission, but no software, browser, network or device can be guaranteed completely secure. Use an updated browser, a trusted device and appropriate care with extensions and shared computers.
We will update this notice when actual practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where required. This notice describes current practices and is not consent for unrelated future processing.
