About these Terms

These Terms govern use of the PDF Tools Club website provided by PDF Tools Club · India. They apply only to the extent a valid agreement is formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the tools. You must have legal capacity to agree or use the service with an appropriately authorized adult.

What the service provides

The current release provides 12 free, browser-based document utilities without an account. Features, compatibility and reasonable resource limits may change. There is no guaranteed uptime, processing speed, support response time, indefinite availability or promise to preserve previous versions. Any future paid service would require separate, clearly presented terms.

Third-party open-source components are subject to their respective licences. External links and community services are independently operated; their terms apply to your use of those services.

Your documents and permissions

You keep ownership of your documents. You must have the rights and authority needed to access, process and use the files you select. Local processing grants no ownership interest in your content to us, and this version does not receive or host documents selected in the tools.

Keep your originals and backups. You are responsible for choosing appropriate settings and checking each output before sharing, submitting, printing or relying on it.

Document-specific limitations

PDF behaviour varies by file structure, browser and device. Merging, extracting, rotating, flattening or editing may affect signatures, forms, bookmarks, annotations, fonts or accessibility. Raster compression converts pages to images and does not preserve searchable text, links, form functionality or digital signatures. An already compact PDF may not shrink.

Text extraction does not perform OCR. Watermarks support Latin characters in this version. Encrypted files are unsupported. Tools do not provide certified signatures, legally validated redaction, archival compliance or guaranteed preservation of formatting. A visible watermark is not access control.

These utilities do not provide legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Obtain appropriate independent verification for high-stakes uses.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe rights, attempt to compromise security, distribute malicious software, impersonate others, or overwhelm the website or its infrastructure. Do not misrepresent an altered document as authentic or use the tools to facilitate fraud.

We may restrict access or take proportionate action to protect the service, other people or legal obligations. Nothing here prohibits a use that applicable law expressly permits.

Availability and warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose or compatible with every file. Implied warranties are disclaimed only where such disclaimer is legally allowed.

We do not guarantee output accuracy, recovery of lost files, or that using the tools will satisfy a third party’s submission requirements. This does not exclude a warranty or standard that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Responsibility and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profit, opportunity or anticipated savings, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Any assessment of direct loss remains subject to applicable law, causation and reasonable mitigation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer rights. These Terms do not promise immunity from claims or transfer all risk to users.

If a dispute concerns your unlawful use or infringement of a third party’s rights, responsibility will be determined under applicable law. No unlimited indemnity is imposed by this document.

Concerns, disputes and your rights

Please contact hello@pdftoolsclub.com with the issue, the affected tool and relevant non-confidential details so that we can try to resolve it informally. Do not send the original private document unless a suitable secure process has been expressly agreed.

Applicable law and competent courts are determined by relevant legal rules. Nothing requires you to waive a mandatory consumer forum, statutory remedy or non-waivable right. No compulsory arbitration or exclusive foreign court is imposed by these Terms.

Changes and general provisions

We may update these Terms prospectively and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated or accepted as applicable law requires; a later revision does not automatically rewrite rights that have already accrued.

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent legally valid. A delay in enforcing a right is not automatically a waiver. Headings are for readability.
